History Perma-Vault Safe Company was formed in 1978, for the purpose of developing, manufacturing and marketing affordable safes; it sought to take advantage of a market niche that had been largely ignored by firms in the industry. The company trademarked the name "Perma-Vault Safe Company" for its line of safes. The design of the first product was sufficiently unique that the company was issued a U.S.A. and Canadian Patent. Perma-Vault Safe Company has a competitive advantage, not only in it's unique products, but also in having achieved acceptance and recognition with locksmiths nationally, and with major national retail chains for their own security needs.
